Ohia Dream Theory

I am a fiber artist, silver smith and mineral physics graduate student based out of Chicago. My textiles work reflects my physics research in that I implement the methods of computational coding onto my four-harness loom while adding glitches to the system. I add the glitches as a visual enhancement as well as a natural reflection of the problem solving processes I encounter daily in analyzing my data.

I see my weavings as a fiber matrix of textured pixels.
